What was that? Last March was my last post you say? You wondered if I survived becoming a mom of three and if I would ever return to report on my blog? Well, you were justified in your worry, but here we are :)
We moved to Highland so after storing our stuff for 7 long months we got to break it out, dust it off, and find places for everything. It's amazing how much less stuff I suddenly had when we had more square feet to spread it across!
When we first saw the house we noticed blue robin's eggs in a perfect nest in the plum tree out back - (who has a plum tree, honestly? besides us, I mean.)![]()
And we moved in a month later just in time to see the baby birds! Aunt Emily there helped pick the boys up to see them. There were 3 or 4 total and Mama bird was very protective. I in turn was very protective of her sweeping at my young. It was all very maternal.

We went and rode the "Day out with Thomas" in Heber to celebrate. He is quite the Thomas kid and Michael loved it too.

Meanwhile, more recently, the boys have started pre-school, and Sammy and I get lots of together time. He's teaching himself to read - trying to catch up with Mr. Michael, who is quite the little reader.
Note - no babies were endangered in the taking of that photo. Trust me. He couldn't move at all yet. (That's some pretty subtle foreshadowing for all you literary nerds)
Anyway, I'll have to post more recent pictures soon- I finally broke down and replaced the camera charger I lost in the move somehow. That's why all of these pics are from the first of the move until the battery died in June :) It should arrive next week.
